About The Painting: I really enjoyed making this piece--layers of plaster with tiny bits of mica embedded with designs, acrylic and metallics paints. Wonderful piece to add a creative accent to a room---if this is hung where good lighting is available it will shimmer even more as the piece has lots of mica powder in it. Colors include rich greens,blues and golds as well as a hint of yellow and grey.

Material: Large canvas, all staples on back. Acrylic paints. Signed and titled by artist Julie Hampton on back--so you can hang any way you like. Painting is coated with a clear non yellowing varnish for added protection and durability. Sides are painted in a coordinating color.
